Third Generation 2007-2014 X250 This vintage is the basis for 90% of the campervans and motorhomes produced during the period of operation. Its a strong reliable chassis capable of supporting 3.5t or 4t (the Maxi) and with the AL-KO chassis 5t. (It should be noted that in the UK for some stupid reason you can't drive a vehicle over 3.5t without a C1 up to 7.5t and and C up to 14t)

Forth Generation X290 2014 onwards This generation featured a redesigned front end, and a range of Euro 6 engines (from 2017 onwards). In 2021 twiddles like adaptive cruise/lane assist were added, and in 2022 a new 9speed automatic transmision (ZF-Agine) was introduced to replace the 6 speed.

Fiat Ducato | Peugeot Boxer | Citroen Jumper & Relay | Iveco Daily These are light commerical vehicles developed by FCA Italy and PSA (now stellantis) and manufacturer by the Italian company Sevel (but over the years has also been produced by Iveco). This chassis form the host for the majority of campervans and motorhomes on the market today in Europe (even A-class).

Weights and Plates Your Vehicle will have a number of information plates installed under the bonnet and in the door jam, these plates are important so don't dismiss them. You should at the very least check that the VIN on the chassis plate matches the VIN in the windscreen, and you must be aware of the weight limits.
